Karnataka, one of the southern states of India, is well-known for its world heritages and rich history. The diversity of Karnataka isn’t just in its art and history but also in religious and linguistic ethnicity. From the ancient history to the Vijaynagar Empire & other four different dynasties, Karnataka has been a home to practice cultural heritage. Gurukulams and other institutions are established in the holy town of Gokarna, Uttara Kannada, Karnataka, India, which is known as southern Kashi, the place of the only AtmaLinga of Lord Shiva. In addition, the existing campus is expanded in Muroor with focus towards higher education.
The sacred place of Gokarna is also famous as:
- Bhagiratha performed severe penance to please Lord Shiva and bring down the holy Ganges to the Earth.
- The birth place of Hanuman who is an incarnation of knowledge and loyalty.
