He has served in the field of education for 36 years, 22 years as lecturer of Business Studies and Accountancy in various government PU colleges and 14 years as a Principal. He has served as President of the review committee for accountancy textbooks of the Pre University Board of Karnataka Government, served as evaluator, camp in charge and examiner for business studies and accountancy subjects. He has worked also in the question papers coordination committee, served as conducting chief of several government exams and yearly exams of second PU, also as chief of CET exam center. He has the glory of being a state level resource person in accountancy for students of first and second PU and conducting many camps for PU lecturers as a trainer. He served as the president of information & training manual preparation committee for PU lecturers
